If you want multiple concurrent sessions on a Windows system, it's either RDP or ICA for you. On Linux systems, xnvc can deal with the multiple concurrent users problem(it presents a standard x11 screen and peripherals, unrelated to any physical monitors that may or may not be present, to the VNC client, and you can have multiple xvnc instances running concurrently but that's not a happening thing on Windows). Also, unless you go with a specific vendor's non-standard(and generally non free) implementation, authentication and security are.very retro. Extremely useful, and great for virtual 'over the shoulder' type support but it limits you to 1 user per desktop at any given time. VNC is just straight-dump-of-the-framebuffer-over-network. How is this better than the dozen free VNC clients? Why would businesses pay for it?
